This building is located near the Jasmin metro station, not far from Hector-Guimard’s works.
This quiet neighborhood offers, within just a few streets, a chronological overview of architectural history spanning the last 150 years. From pre-World War I mansions to Haussmann-style buildings by architect Jean-Marie Boussard, to interwar-era structures and the works of Hector Guimard (notably on Rue Henri Heine), Mallet-Stevens and Le Corbusier, and more recent buildings from after 1945, such as the one at 11 Square Jasmin, which evokes a Mondrian painting.

Old road in the town ofAuteuil, the street Jasmine It begins at 78 Mozart Avenue and ends at 14 Raffet Street.
This street is a section of the former Rue de la Cure, which once began at Rue de l’Assomption.
It is named after the Agen-born poet Jacques Boé, known as Jasmin (1798–1864).
In 1851, he was awarded the Cross of the Legion of Honor and a prize from the Académie Française in Paris, which allowed him to give up his career as a barber and devote himself entirely to his art.
